TZU CHI UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY
Tzu Chi University of Science and Technology was established by the Tzu Chi Buddhist Compassion Relief Foundation in 1989 under the guidance of Dharma Master Cheng Yen. The school has a nursing department (five-year, two-year and four-year), medical imaging and radiology, medical and health management, marketing and distribution management, and information technology and management. There is also a long-term care research institute and a radiological science research institute.
The school has been recognized by all walks of life for more than 20 years, and has been awarded by the Ministry of Education for outstanding performance, administrative evaluation, teacher evaluation, and the Ministry of Education's technical education project performance outstanding contribution award and supervising inspection and other honorary deeds; passed the Ministry of Education The evaluation of the school affairs of the science and technology school and the evaluation of the department. In 2013, won the Ministry of Education's 2013-2014 Teaching Excellence Program Award, and won the Ministry of Education's Teaching Excellence Program from 2013 to 2017, a total of 130 million subsidies, and received the Ministry of Education's "Higher Education Deep Cultivation Program" from 2018 to 2022, The amount of subsidy for each student accounts for the ninth place among the national technical colleges.
In recent years, the school has actively promoted research and industry-university cooperation to improve teaching quality. It has won World Invention Exhibition awards many times. For example, the 19th Malaysia MTE International Invention Exhibition and Invention Competition won one silver, two bronze and one special award in 2020, and the 2019 Nuremberg International Invention Exhibition in Germany Nursing students won gold medals and so on.

Mission
Tzu Chi University of Science and Technology aims to teach professional talents in applied science and technology, and cultivate education professionals with the goals of caring for society, respecting life, humanistic qualities and the spirit of great love. The school also focuses on life and moral education, taking into account both professional skills and Tzu Chi's unique humanistic education in teaching, emphasizing the function of both theory, clinical and practice as the goal, and the mission of "cultivating technical and professional personnel with humanistic literacy".
INTERNATIONAL ACADEMICS AND EXCHANGE
In order to implement the goal of internationalization of educational exchanges, the school actively promotes international cooperation and exchanges and substantive cooperation to enhance international academic status, expand students' international horizons, and provide international student services. We strive to improve our international academic ranking, and broaden the mobility and global perspective of our teachers and students through cooperation and exchange between our school's departments and both domestic and international academic institutions. We also devote considerable effort to securing grant funding from the Ministry of Education to support the development of our international exchange programs among the various academic departments at our school.
